Job Summary

A company is looking for an Environmental and Social Management System and Gender Equity Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Support SIMA team in analyzing ESMS/GE data of energy access companies and identifying risks, gaps, and best practices
Lead discussions with stakeholders on ESMS systems and development of new ESMS/GE scorecard tools
Advocate for the adoption of ESMS/GE tools, develop training materials, and raise awareness on environmental and social issues

Qualifications:

Masters degree in relevant fields such as business, environmental or social sciences
Minimum of 6 years experience in ESMS implementation, training, or program management
Familiarity with energy access sector companies' policies and sustainability frameworks
Experience in Africa would be an advantage
