Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Estate Planning Attorney, the selected candidate will serve as a primary strategic advisor for ultra-high net worth families, managing client relationships, leading a team of estate strategists, and designing comprehensive estate plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead client relationships and serve as the estate planning strategic partner for Regis families
- Design and implement advanced estate plans, including various trust structures and tax strategies
- Manage a team of estate strategists and collaborate with interdisciplinary experts to enhance client outcomes
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred
- 15+ years of legal experience in estate planning, particularly with clients having $100M+ in assets
- Deep technical knowledge of federal transfer tax law and advanced wealth transfer planning techniques
- Experience in advising on business succession and the estate planning implications of closely held business interests
- Prior experience in a private wealth department at an AmLaw 100/200 firm or a recognized estate planning boutique
