Estimate Writer

Job Summary

Producing accurate, carrier-compliant estimates and supplements, the full-time remote Estimate Writer will support the insurance restoration program by writing property damage estimates and collaborating with the CAC team and field inspectors.

Key responsibilities

• Write property damage estimates and supplement requests using Xactimate and Symbility
• Review inspection photos and reports to build accurate estimates and submit supplement requests
• Collaborate with team members to resolve scope questions and maintain organized documentation for claims

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Xactimate and Symbility
• Working knowledge of building codes related to roofing, siding, and exterior restoration
• Experience in writing estimates and supplements in the property insurance restoration industry
• Ability to interpret aerial measurement reports and inspection checklists
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
