Job Summary

A company is looking for an Estimator who will prepare material estimations for home construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate materials needed for home construction in accordance with company policy and local building codes
• Assist salesmen with customer orders, materials lists, and trim take-offs
• Train sales representatives in estimating techniques and assist with blueprint reading

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in engineering or a related area
• 1-3 years of experience in construction and building materials
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret building plans
• Experience with networked computer systems and specialized software
• Understanding of measurements and basic math principles
