Job Summary
Supporting the development of quantity takeoffs for critical infrastructure projects, the full-time Estimator - Critical Infrastructure will collaborate with senior estimating personnel and various teams while working remotely across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in reviewing construction plans and performing entry-level quantity takeoffs under supervision
- Supports the preparation of bid packages and collaborates with the Pre Bid team to confirm scope details
- Participates in training sessions to enhance proficiency in takeoff software and plan reading
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or related fields
- Prior experience in bid preparation, sales, or construction within the water/wastewater industry preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline typically required
- Demonstrated ability to perform accurate takeoffs from plan sets
- Exposure to reading blueprints or construction documents is beneficial
