Job Summary
To support power delivery construction projects, the full-time Estimator for Utility Construction will prepare accurate estimates and bids, review plans and specifications, and analyze project costs while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Generate bid hour and bid sheets for substation and transmission line projects
- Prepare detailed take-offs and staking sheets for accurate project estimation
- Collect and analyze historical cost data to enhance estimates for ongoing and future projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in utility construction estimating, specifically in transmission line or substation projects
- Experience with EPC estimating
- Strong background in Microsoft Office applications and construction estimating software
- B2W experience preferred but not required
