Job Summary
Responsible for managing the bid process and estimating services for projects, the full-time remote Estimator - Georgia Licensed will prepare and submit bids, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety and contract standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepares and submits bids while ensuring overall bid ownership, including safety, cost, and contract terms
- Attends pre-construction meetings and consults with Project Managers and Superintendents as necessary
- Maintains positive relationships with the sales team, Branch leadership, and General Contractors throughout the bidding process
Required qualifications
- Two years of college or trade school in a construction-related field; a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in construction, preferably as an estimator or project manager
- Ability to read, interpret, and accurately take off construction drawings
- Advanced skills in mathematics and exceptional analytical abilities
- Experience with insulation estimating software, specifically MIKE by Computability
