Job Summary

A company is looking for an Estimator specializing in Heavy Civil and Transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and develop detailed cost estimates for heavy civil and transportation infrastructure projects
Accurately quantify labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes of work using HCSS HeavyBid software
Prepare and organize bids for DOT and large-scale highway or bridge projects

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3-7 years of experience in estimating heavy civil construction projects
Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid software
Working knowledge of DOT specifications and federal/state transportation bid requirements
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
