Job Summary
To support utility scale solar and BESS projects, the full-time remote Estimator, Services will prepare accurate cost estimates, analyze project specifications, and collaborate with project teams to ensure timely bidding and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Collaborate with subcontractors to define costs and maintain vendor relationships for updated pricing
- Identify project risks and assist in developing risk matrices and go/no-go decisions with management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience in utility scale solar or BESS projects
- Working knowledge of standard equipment and operations in the utility scale solar and BESS industry
- Experience with electrical operations and maintenance is a plus
- Exceptional skills in Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications
