Ethics Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To support the undergraduate pre-nursing certificate ethics course, the part-time remote Ethics Adjunct Faculty will provide high-quality instruction and support to students in an online classroom environment while participating in program development and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging online instruction and timely feedback to students while managing class sizes of up to 30 students
• Facilitate and grade assignments, conduct synchronous interaction sessions, and communicate with students regarding course material and academic matters
• Collaborate with program faculty on curriculum planning and provide feedback for program improvement

Required qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in ethics or moral philosophy
• At least three years of online teaching experience in higher education is preferred
• Proficient in computer applications and familiar with Canvas and Microsoft or G-Suite applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
• Willingness to support the Christian mission of the university and maintain confidentiality
