ETL Developer

Job Summary

To support and modernize legacy mainframe systems within a federal environment, the remote ETL (Informatica) Developer will design, develop, and test ETL scripts on the Informatica platform while collaborating with business analysts to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL processes using Informatica Power Center, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, including data definitions and transformation logic
• Conduct reviews of developed code and provide end-user support during post-deployment phases, addressing feedback and issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in ETL, with at least 6 years specifically in Informatica
• Strong background in application development, including database design and data modeling
• Active IRS MBI Clearance
• Experience with PL/SQL and familiarity with various data technologies such as HDFS and Kafka
