ETL Matillion Lead

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of ETL solutions, the contract ETL Matillion Lead will focus on automation, database architecture, and data transformations while guiding technical decisions and managing development teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL orchestration using Matillion and oversee database design with Snowflake
• Review complex SQL and performance-optimized data pipelines, ensuring data quality and validation
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for data-related issues and lead Agile project initiatives

Required qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience with ETL/ELT processes, specifically using Matillion
• Strong background in database architecture, schema design, and data modeling
• Proven experience in the healthcare domain, particularly with data standards like HL7 and ADT
• Experience managing development teams and leading technical projects
• Familiarity with APIs, Salesforce Data Flow, and performance optimization techniques
