EU Compliance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Engineer focused on the EU.

Key Responsibilities

• Navigate and ensure compliance with EU regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, EU AI Act, DORA, and NIS2
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and legal teams to integrate compliance into product development
• Develop technical documentation and tooling to facilitate compliance and support enterprise sales

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with EU regulatory frameworks like GDPR and EU AI Act
• Hands-on experience with ISO 27001 and related gap analysis and risk assessments
• Ability to produce clear technical compliance documentation
• Experience with compliance-as-code tooling for automation
• Located in EU/EMEA and able to work within European business timezones
