Evaluation and Research Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Independent Evaluation Office, the full-time Evaluation and Research Analyst will provide analytical support for independent country programme evaluations, utilizing advanced research methodologies and data analytics tools while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and execution of independent country programme evaluations, including data collection and analysis
• Conduct high-quality research and generate analytical inputs using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies
• Manage evaluation-related timelines and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution of evaluations

Required qualifications

• Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Public Administration, Political Science, or related fields, or a bachelor's degree with additional relevant experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in evaluations and research within international development
• Proficiency in data management and analytics tools, including Power BI, Python, and R
• Familiarity with AI applications in data analysis and evaluation methodologies
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of French and Spanish is an asset
