Job Summary
Providing critical analytical support to the Independent Evaluation Office, the full-time Evaluation and Research Analyst will contribute to independent country programme evaluations, engage with stakeholders, and apply advanced research methodologies and data analytics tools to strengthen evaluation findings.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and execution of independent country programme evaluations, ensuring rigor and credibility in data collection and analysis
- Conduct high-quality research and generate analytical inputs using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including AI and data analytics tools
- Manage evaluation-related timelines and resources while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to support seamless evaluation execution
Required qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Social Sciences, Economics, Public Administration, or related fields, or a bachelor's degree with additional qualifying experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in evaluations and research within international development
- Strong knowledge of data management, including experience with dashboards and data visualization tools like Power BI
- Proficiency in using data analytics technologies, including Python and R, and familiarity with AI applications in evaluation
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of French and Spanish is an asset
