Job Summary
Leading the planning and execution of major events, the full-time remote Event Manager will coordinate the annual Leadership Summit and other key gatherings, ensuring exceptional participant experiences through effective project management and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of the annual Leadership Summit and other events, collaborating with program staff to achieve program goals
- Manage event operations, including budgeting, vendor management, and logistics for both in-person and virtual programs
- Develop and improve systems and processes to support successful events, including playbooks and post-event evaluations
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in planning and executing complex, multi-day events with 100+ attendees
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects on time
- Detail-oriented with a focus on operational excellence and participant experience
- Calm and resourceful under pressure, capable of adapting quickly to changing circumstances
- Excellent writing skills for producing clear and polished communications for diverse audiences
