Event Manager, South Florida

Job Summary

To support hotel operations in the South Florida area, the full-time FLEX OSR Event Manager will manage event logistics, ensure exceptional customer service, and coordinate with sales and property departments while working onsite and potentially traveling to other markets as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee event logistics to ensure seamless execution and adherence to established procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the event process, from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to forecast revenue, manage group room blocks, and identify upselling opportunities

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in event management, or a 2-year degree in a related field with no prior experience required
• Must reside in the South Florida area
• Ability to manage average to large-sized events and group logistics effectively
• Experience in customer service with a focus on enhancing guest experiences
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and adapt to changing operational needs
