Job Summary
To support Alma's growing events engine, the full-time Event Operations Specialist will manage logistics and on-site execution for various events, ensuring they are seamless and premium while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full operational lifecycle of events, including venue sourcing, catering, and vendor coordination
- Create and refine operational playbooks and checklists to standardize workflows for different event formats
- Partner with the Events & Partnerships Lead to translate event strategy into actionable plans and track performance for continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- Experience managing the operational side of high-quality events, either professionally or as a student
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and vendors simultaneously
- Proven ability to handle logistics end-to-end, from planning through breakdown
- Comfort with detail-oriented coordination and vendor management
- Clear and proactive communication skills with stakeholders across teams
