Event Setup Specialist

Job Summary

To support healthcare providers, the full-time Event Setup Specialist will evaluate incoming documents and data, update patient files, and determine next steps based on contractual and state requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming data to identify leads and relevant information for event processing
• Enter new information into patient records and synthesize available data to determine additional needs
• Achieve production standards and QA requirements while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information

Required qualifications

• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with minimal errors
• Working knowledge of auto and health payers and patient accounting hierarchy
• Proficiency in computer functions, including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems
• Highly organized with the ability to follow systematic methods for task completion
• Reliable and capable of working with minimal supervision
