Exam Manager - MLR Compliance
Job Summary
Managing comprehensive Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) examinations remotely, the full-time Exam Manager - MLR Compliance will oversee examiners, maintain project schedules, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee work streams and staff examiners, ensuring timely completion of MLR examinations
- Manage communications with examinee company contacts and provide guidance to examiners as needed
- Perform detailed reviews of examination work papers and analyze premium and claims data using ACL
Required qualifications
- Prior audit/examination management experience required
- Experience with MLR or healthcare auditing or accounting required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3+ years' experience in accounting, auditing, or examination related to MLR
- Ability to obtain CPA, CIA, CFE, and/or AFE designations
