Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter II (Excess).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate excess insurance applications to determine coverage acceptance or decline based on underwriting guidelines
• Document underwriting files and ensure compliance with industry and government regulations
• Collaborate with the underwriting team and process accounts from approved quotes to policy issuance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 3 years of excess underwriting or related insurance experience required
• CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to changing priorities
