Executive Consultant

Job Summary

Serving as the senior strategic advisor to leadership, the remote Executive Consultant will provide expert policy analysis, executive communications, and organizational strategy while supporting the Deputy Director and senior management in fire and aviation management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the principal strategic advisor on fire and aviation management policy issues
• Analyze emerging legislation and agency initiatives affecting wildland fire management
• Develop executive correspondence and policy recommendations supporting USDA and Forest Service priorities

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in executive consulting or strategic planning
• Extensive knowledge of USFS Fire and Aviation Management and federal administrative processes
• Demonstrated experience preparing executive-level communications and policy documents
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
