Executive Director

Job Summary

Leading the Fire Family Foundation, the full-time Executive Director will provide strategic direction and operational oversight focused on supporting firefighter families' mental health and well-being, while engaging stakeholders and driving fundraising efforts in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the emotional resilience of firefighter families
• Oversee program development and delivery aimed at improving the mental health of firefighter families
• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to ensure the foundation's financial sustainability

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a nonprofit, mental health, or first responder support organization
• Deep understanding of the psychological challenges faced by firefighter families
• Proven experience in fundraising with a successful track record in securing grants and sponsorships
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
