Job Summary

Providing visionary leadership, the part-time Executive Director will guide the Wellness Equity Institute's mission, oversee strategic planning, and ensure financial sustainability while working remotely in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

• Advance WEI's mission through strategic leadership and governance in partnership with the Board of Directors
• Oversee the design and scaling of health programs and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Lead fundraising efforts and maintain fiscal accountability while developing sustainable revenue models

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; clinical doctoral degree preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit organizations or healthcare settings
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar operational budgets and securing diversified funding
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing health programs for marginalized communities
• Ability to coordinate complex systems and mobilize diverse stakeholder coalitions
