Job Summary
A company is looking for an Executive Director, Public Affairs, U.S. HIV Prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team to drive U.S. communications and advocacy for the HIV Prevention portfolio
- Engage with leaders across various departments to drive cross-functional strategy and tactical plans
- Design and implement disease awareness programs to inform and mobilize individuals regarding viral diseases
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Typically requires a BA degree in communications, liberal arts, business, or a science-oriented field
- 16+ years of relevant experience, including 14 years in healthcare public relations or equivalent experience with a master's degree or PhD
- Demonstrated experience in driving communications plans that support business priorities
- Prior experience in HIV and/or viral hepatitis communications, advocacy, or government affairs is required
- Experience working outside of the U.S. is required
