Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Director, Public Affairs, U.S. HIV Prevention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to drive U.S. communications and advocacy for the HIV Prevention portfolio
  • Engage with leaders across various departments to drive cross-functional strategy and tactical plans
  • Design and implement disease awareness programs to inform and mobilize individuals regarding viral diseases
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Typically requires a BA degree in communications, liberal arts, business, or a science-oriented field
  • 16+ years of relevant experience, including 14 years in healthcare public relations or equivalent experience with a master's degree or PhD
  • Demonstrated experience in driving communications plans that support business priorities
  • Prior experience in HIV and/or viral hepatitis communications, advocacy, or government affairs is required
  • Experience working outside of the U.S. is required
