Executive Director, HR Operations

Job Summary

Leading the HR operating model and workforce governance framework, the full-time Executive Director, HR Operations will manage HR operations, talent acquisition, and employee relations remotely, ensuring alignment with organizational growth and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Transform HR service delivery through process optimization, technology enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with executive leaders to assess workforce structures and provide recommendations that support business objectives and sustainable growth
• Oversee HR operational activities, including employee relations, compliance, and risk management across Canada and the United States

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience supporting multi-site operations across Canada and the United States
• 7 to 10 years in senior leadership roles (Director, Senior Director or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leaders on workforce strategy and organizational effectiveness
• Strong understanding of Employment standards legislation in both Canada and the US
