Executive Director Medical Writing

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Director, ExpMed Global Medical Writing, to lead and enhance their Medical Writing team and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global early phase Medical Writing excellence strategy to accelerate clinical development
• Build and enhance a high-performing Medical Writing team within the ExpMED Clinical Operations department
• Oversee capacity planning, financial management, and strategic deployment of resources to support clinical program needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree; advanced science/clinical degree preferred
• 10+ years of professional experience in a scientific, clinical, and/or medical space
• Strong leadership skills to inspire and build a high-performing team
• Comprehensive understanding of drug development and reporting processes
• Experience managing multiple complex projects in global settings
