Executive Director of Data Management

Job Summary

Responsible for executing and improving investment data management operations, the full-time Executive Director of Data Management will oversee data accuracy, quality governance, and position reconciliation in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operational execution of investment data management, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of standardized data structures and cash flow schedules across investment domains
• Lead the implementation and monitoring of data quality rules and exception thresholds, driving continuous improvement in data integrity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field, or a Master's, MBA, ASA, or FSA with relevant experience
• 10+ years of investment operations or data management experience, with specialization in investment reference data and data quality governance
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing Directors or senior data management specialists
• Demonstrated expertise in managing investment SMF structures and position reconciliation operations across multi-asset class portfolios
• Proven track record of collaborating with technology teams on data architecture and quality framework implementation
