Executive Director of Evidence Synthesis

Job Summary

To lead and grow the Evidence Synthesis & Statistics capability, the full-time Executive Director of Evidence Synthesis will provide strategic, scientific, and operational leadership while delivering complex client work, with flexible working arrangements available including remote options within the UK and other European locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Evidence Synthesis & Statistics capability, focusing on evidence generation and advanced analytics
• Drive business development efforts by identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and maintaining client relationships
• Mentor and manage a high-performing team while overseeing project delivery to ensure scientific rigor and client satisfaction

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (Masters, PhD, DrPH, ScD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline with a minimum of 12+ years of experience
• Significant experience leading evidence synthesis activities in pharmaceutical, CRO, or academic environments
• Proven business development experience, including managing complex client engagements and proposal leadership
• Strong expertise in advanced statistical methodologies, including Bayesian methods and network meta-analysis
• Advanced programming skills in R and/or STATA
