Executive Director of Field Medical

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Director, National Director of Field Medical.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute national field medical strategies aligned with overarching medical goals
• Lead and manage a team of medical science liaisons and regional medical leads to enhance customer engagement
• Oversee training and communication plans to ensure scientific excellence within the field medical team

Required Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or healthcare degree required; doctoral degree preferred (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, etc.)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in field-based medical roles
• Experience managing high-performing teams, particularly in cardiovascular therapeutic areas
• Strong understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and PhRMA Code compliance
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate complex healthcare environments
