Job Summary

Driving strategic innovation and operational transformation initiatives, the full-time remote Executive Director of Innovation will advance modernization efforts in clinical operations across Amgen's global development portfolio, focusing on the adoption of emerging technologies and process optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the ACT FAST transformation initiative, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and operational goals
• Develop and execute the GDO innovation and transformation roadmap, modernizing clinical operations processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Oversee program management activities, ensuring transformation initiatives are prioritized, tracked, and aligned with organizational objectives

Required qualifications

• Doctorate with 6+ years, Master's with 10+ years, or Bachelor's with 12+ years of clinical execution experience
• 6 years of managerial experience directly managing teams or leading projects
• 15+ years of experience in clinical development or related functions within the biopharmaceutical industry
• Proven success in leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
• Expertise in clinical operations technologies and AI-enabled solutions
