Executive Director of IT Operations

Job Summary

Seeking a collaborative and strategic technology leader, the full-time salaried Executive Director of IT Operations will oversee critical infrastructure operations for seven universities, ensuring reliable and modern technology services while managing teams responsible for enterprise network operations and infrastructure financial management in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of IT leaders responsible for enterprise infrastructure operations
• Oversee the delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives, including network upgrades and technology modernization efforts
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve reliability and service quality across multiple campuses

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Eight or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in IT operations or infrastructure
• Experience leading cross-functional operational teams in a complex, multi-site IT environment
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise networking, budget development, and vendor management
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders
