Executive Director of Technology Risk Management

Job Summary

Providing strategic direction and oversight, the fully remote Executive Director of Technology Risk Management will develop and implement a comprehensive information security program, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data while managing cross-functional cooperation between security and IT infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and architect an enterprise-wide information security program to ensure data integrity and availability
• Establish and maintain a cybersecurity risk management program, reporting on risk metrics to relevant committees
• Manage investigations related to security incidents and act as a liaison with external law enforcement and agencies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline plus ten years of relevant experience, including seven years in a leadership role
• Thirteen years of directly related experience in auditing and risk management with at least seven years in a leadership capacity may substitute for a degree
• Experience in business continuity planning, auditing, and contract/vendor negotiation
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong understanding of compliance with HIPAA, GLBA, and PCI standards
