Executive Director, Supply Chain

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Director, Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select components of the Supply Network including manufacturing organizations and critical material providers
• Lead assessments of suppliers and negotiate major contracts related to manufacturing and logistics management
• Manage and optimize the Supply Chain function to ensure timely and cost-effective management of materials and products

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in life sciences is required; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred
• 15+ years in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical operations, including 5+ years in strategic sourcing or supply chain leadership
• Direct experience in cell therapy, including clinical-stage operations and readiness for commercial launch
• Proven track record in managing complex global supply chains with a focus on cost and service optimization
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across functional groups and engage stakeholders at all levels
