Executive Medical Director, Pharmacovigilance

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Medical Director, Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management (PVRM).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of safety strategies for complex oncology clinical development programs
• Oversee safety data analysis, interpretation, and the creation of core safety documents
• Develop and implement risk management strategies and present safety data in key meetings

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• M.D. degree with a minimum of 10 years of post-residency experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency and at least 10 years of pharmacovigilance or relevant experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech company
• Board Certification (if US) preferred
• Significant knowledge of US and EU pharmacovigilance regulatory requirements
• Prior project and team leadership/management experience preferred
