Executive Product Subject Matter Expert
Job Summary
To support the transformation of Federal Student Aid, the full-time remote Executive Product Subject Matter Expert will provide senior practitioner expertise in managing technology products and platforms, advising leadership on product operating models, and facilitating complex decision-making processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise FSA leadership on enterprise product operating model design and maturation
- Coach product, technology, and engineering leaders on ownership, prioritization, and outcome-based management
- Evaluate current delivery models and recommend changes to enhance organizational structure and governance
Required qualifications:
- At least 15 years of senior technology, product, engineering, or platform leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience transforming engineering or technology operating models and product roadmap processes
- Deep understanding of modern software engineering, cloud platforms, and architecture
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and technical teams
- Capability to evaluate complex technical recommendations based on business value and long-term sustainability
