Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, the full-time Executive Underwriter PL will handle complex underwriting matters, collaborate with various teams, and build strong agent relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, adhering to underwriting authority and profitability goals
• Handle complex underwriting issues and provide solutions that meet customer needs
• Build and maintain relationships with agents, offering guidance and support in the High Value segment

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in underwriting, particularly with high-value accounts
• Strong knowledge of insurance market trends and strategies
• Proven ability to mentor junior underwriters and lead training sessions
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Actuarial and Operations
• Demonstrated negotiation skills in managing agent relationships and underwriting exceptions
