Experience Designer
Job Summary
Seeking a junior Experience Designer, the full-time position offers the opportunity to collaborate on innovative physical and spatial experiences, translating creative concepts into tangible installations and environments, with preference given to candidates in Pittsburgh or those willing to relocate.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop inventive and meaningful concepts for physical experiences
- Design and prototype spatial experiences, including installations and interactive exhibits, using 3D modeling and other visualization methods
- Conceptualize and diagram user experiences through various tools, ensuring clarity and engagement in the final design
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in a creative agency, experiential studio, or similar environment
- Strong foundation in 3D, spatial, or experiential design with proficiency in at least one 3D modeling software
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas visually through sketches, diagrams, and prototypes
- Experience with physical interaction and spatial storytelling
- Portfolio showcasing concepts for physical or interactive experiences, including prototypes and process work
