Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Specialist to manage lower-level, non-complex workers' compensation claims under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Receives and confirms policy coverage for claims
• Determines the validity and compensability of claims and establishes reserves
• Communicates claim status with customers, claimants, and clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience
• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience and claims management preferred
• State Certification as an Experienced Examiner
