Experienced Solution Architect

Job Summary

Providing thought leadership and technical direction, the full-time Experienced Solution Architect will work remotely to guide the data engineering team in building analytic data products and aligning business requirements with data strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the data engineering team in developing analytic data products and enforcing data governance standards
• Translate business requirements into data strategies that align with the company's technology vision
• Document and maintain the overall view of data platform architecture and provide training for data engineers

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in big data, database, and enterprise data architecture
• 5+ years of experience in architecting and maintaining enterprise data lake platforms using distributed processing frameworks
• 3+ years of experience with cloud-based systems, preferably AWS and/or Databricks
• Strong SQL skills for data governance and visualization tools
• Broad knowledge of data technologies, including ETL/ELT and data modeling disciplines
