Experienced Solutions Architect

Job Summary

Providing thought leadership and technical direction, the full-time Experienced Solutions Architect will design and develop data strategies, enforce data governance standards, and mentor the data engineering team in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the data engineering team in building analytic data products and aligning business requirements with technology vision
• Design and enforce standards for data storage, processing, and governance across all environments
• Document and maintain the overall view of data platform architecture, ensuring data quality and retention

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in big data, database, and enterprise data architecture
• 5+ years of experience architecting and maintaining enterprise data lake platforms using distributed processing frameworks
• 3+ years of experience implementing cloud-based systems, preferably AWS and/or Databricks
• Strong SQL skills for data governance and visualization tools
• Broad knowledge of data technologies, including ETL/ELT and data modeling
