Expert Backup Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Expert System Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, modernize, and maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions with a focus on automation and process improvement
• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise backup solutions, troubleshooting and resolving complex backup failures
• Monitor backup performance, analyze trends, and ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 11 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 8 years with a Master's; or 5 years with a PhD
• 4+ years of Linux administration experience (RHEL or similar)
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, and SQL
• Proven experience managing and modernizing enterprise backup environments
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale modernization, migration, and optimization projects
