Job Summary

Seeking an Expert Bosnian Audio Transcriber to work remotely on a part-time basis, responsible for converting audio recordings of native speakers into precise written transcripts while applying expert linguistic judgment in areas such as orthography and speaker attribution.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe audio recordings into accurate, time-aligned written text following project-specific style guides
• Apply conventions for speaker identification, overlapping speech, and non-speech events while making orthographic decisions
• Self-review submissions for quality and engage with QA reviewers on edge cases and style guide updates

Required qualifications

• Native fluency in Bosnian with lifelong residence or deep immersion in Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Mastery of Bosnian Latin orthography and awareness of Cyrillic
• At least two years of professional transcription or related experience
• Ability to distinguish Bosnian from Croatian and Serbian in mixed audio
• Comfortable with web-based annotation platforms and variable-speed audio playback
