Expert Engineer

Job Summary

To support multiple projects, the full-time Expert Engineer will design and evolve technology pipelines, guide teams through code merging processes, and drive refactoring efforts to enhance system modularity and sustainability in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve pipelines for efficient sharing of technology across projects
• Support teams in code merging processes to ensure consistency and minimize conflicts
• Collaborate with engineers to identify opportunities for standardization and improve existing systems

Required qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in software architecture with a focus on scalable, modular systems
• Demonstrated experience in technical leadership guiding solutions across multiple projects
• Proven experience with refactoring large or legacy codebases in a production environment
• Deep understanding of version control systems and branching/merging strategies
• Very good knowledge of C++ and familiarity with Unreal Engine or similar environments
