Expert Engineer

Job Summary

To support multiple projects, the full-time Expert Engineer will design and evolve technology pipelines, guide teams through code merging processes, and drive refactoring efforts to enhance system modularity and sustainability in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and evolving pipelines for efficient technology sharing across projects
• Guiding teams through code and system merging processes to minimize conflicts
• Driving refactoring efforts to improve the modularity and maintainability of existing systems

Required qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in a software architecture role with a focus on scalable, modular systems
• Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership capacity across multiple projects
• Proven experience with refactoring large or legacy codebases in production
• Deep understanding of version control systems and branching/merging strategies
• Very good knowledge of C++ and familiarity with Unreal Engine or similar environments
