Expert Engineer, Secure LAN

Job Summary

Providing hands-on technical leadership in a remote full-time capacity, the Expert Engineer, Secure LAN will manage enterprise wired and wireless networks, firewall and network authentication platforms, ensuring secure and resilient access across various corporate and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for enterprise Secure LAN and Wi-Fi platforms, overseeing design, configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management
• Define and maintain wireless standards for performance, resiliency, and security across all locations, leading technical execution for deployments and upgrades
• Govern MSP-delivered operations and act as the senior escalation point for complex network incidents, ensuring consistent service quality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience engineering enterprise Wi-Fi, authentication, LAN, WAN, or network connectivity platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise LAN technologies, switching, and network access control
• Deep understanding of BGP and OSPF routing protocols and enterprise-scale operations
• Experience with policy-based access control and integrating NAC with directory services and security tooling
