Expert Hebrew Audio Transcriber

Job Summary

To support AI-driven projects, an Expert Hebrew Audio Transcriber (Latam) will work remotely on a part-time basis, transcribing audio recordings of native speakers into precise written transcripts while applying expert linguistic judgment and adhering to project-specific style guides.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe audio recordings into accurate, time-aligned written text following project-specific style guidelines
• Make orthographic decisions for dialectal, colloquial, and code-switched speech while identifying speaker attributes and non-speech events
• Self-review submissions for quality and engage with QA reviewers on ambiguous segments and style guide updates

Required qualifications

• Native fluency in Modern Hebrew with lifelong residence or deep immersion in Israel
• High accuracy in reading and writing Hebrew script, with or without niqqud
• At least two years of professional experience in transcription, captioning, or linguistic annotation
• Comfortable with web-based annotation platforms and variable-speed audio playback
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace for effective transcription
