Expert Incident Commander

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Expert Incident Commander to join their team full-time in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish centralized command and leadership during impactful incidents
• Coordinate and delegate tasks across internal teams and external vendors
• Oversee operations, monitor progress, and drive resolution of incidents

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Incident Response or critical IT Operations, with 3 years in leading high-severity incidents
• Demonstrated experience commanding large-scale, cross-functional incidents
• Deep understanding of the Incident Response lifecycle and technical knowledge of IT systems
• Experience utilizing incident management platforms for triage and communication
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL v4, SANS GCIH, CISSP) are desirable
