Expert Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Expert Mainframe Systems Programmer - zOS.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for installation, testing, and implementation of z/OS operating systems and system software
• Research and evaluate new software and hardware products while assisting team members with technical queries
• Monitor and tune systems software, ensuring optimal performance and problem resolution

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in a mainframe environment within a large enterprise or equivalent education and experience
• Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent work experience
• Advanced knowledge of z/OS installation and maintenance, including SMP/E
• Advanced knowledge of TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and Unix System Services (USS)
• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
