Expert Modeller

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with the Head of RWE Statistics, the full-time remote Expert Modeller will provide statistical advice for high-quality epidemiological studies, manage analyses for specific projects, and supervise the statistical activities of other team members.

Key responsibilities

• Provide statistical advice and support for the preparation and conduct of epidemiological studies
• Manage and oversee analyses for specific projects while improving analytical processes for team efficiency
• Supervise and mentor other Statisticians to ensure quality and accuracy in their statistical outputs

Required qualifications

• PhD in statistics or related field, with at least ten years of relevant working experience
• Proven experience in planning and performing statistical analyses and designing advanced statistical methodologies
• Strong proficiency in statistical programming using R
• Demonstrated ability to explain statistical concepts to non-statisticians
• Recognized expertise in statistical modelling, evidenced by publications or conference presentations
